How to Reach Us:

IIT Madras is located approximately 13 km from Chennai Meenambakkam International and Domestic Airport. It takes 30 minutes to travel by car. Airport taxis are available for a comfortable journey. Suburban railway stations (Tirusulam) and Metro railway station are also available from Airport to Guindy, from where city bus is available to IITM. Chennai interstate/intercity bus terminus is called Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus, commonly known as CMBT (Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M.G.R. Bus Terminus). From CMBT, you can come to the institute by taking the city bus. If you are reaching Chennai at Chennai Central Railway Station (Dr. M.G.R Central Railway station)/ Chennai Egmore, then you can reach the IITM campus by taxi or city bus.

Accommodation:

Student accommodation in the hostel will be provided on request and after registering for the conference.  The link for the accommodation request will open after 17-12-2022 and will close on 05-01-2023. It costs around Rs. 500/- per night + Food charges (optional). Registration closed

Those who want Taramani guest house accommodation kindly write to the conference mail ID (iecs2023iitm@gmail.com), with the details of the guest (name, gender, and abstract details) and the number of nights of stay (minimum is 3 and the maximum is 4 nights).  As very limited accommodation is available, we will be able to confirm only after the 31st of December.  Once accommodation is confirmed, we will send a payment link. Only limited accommodation is available so it will be allotted on a first come first serve basis. Food charges are to be paid directly by the guest at the guest house.

Check out on or before 21-01-2023, before 11 AM.
